“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seem is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” II Corinthians 4:18 Sometimes our pathway takes us through a season of darkness but even in the blackest night Jesus provides a light when we trust and focus on Him instead of our worries.
“In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.” John 1:4
Only God can see the future and He alone knows the best way for us to go and will stay by our side every step of the journey. “Commit your way to the LORD; Trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.” Psalm 37:5,6
With a heart filled with trust, we have nothing to fear.
“For the LORD, gives wisdom, and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds victory in store for the upright, He is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for He guards the course of the just and protects the way of His faithful ones.” Proverbs 2:6-8
The way will open up as we go and Jesus will light our path.
“We live by faith, not by sight.” II Corinthians 5:7
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt within the heart.” Helen Keller
“But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.” John 3:21 And let us not forget each day when our business seems overwhelming to kneel and pray knowing you will help us accomplish all we need to do in the quickest and best way.
“I’ve much to do today, dear Lord
But let me kneel a bit
Before the threshold of my day
that I may enter it
With mind serene and heart made fresh
with fragrant heavenly dew
that every moment of the day
I’ll be reflecting You.”
by Alice Hansche Mortenson “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:17
Shout To The Lord
“My Jesus, my Savior, Lord, there is none like You;
All of my days I want to praise the wonders of your mighty love.
My comfort, my Shelter, Tower of refuge and strength;
Let every breath, all that I am, never cease to worship You.
Shout to the Lord, all the earth, let us sing
Power and majesty, praise to the King;
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
At the sound of your name.
I sing for joy at the work of your hands,
Forever I’ll love You, forever I’ll stand,
Nothing compares to the promise I have in You.”
so true!! and such a good reminder to be starting our day with our eyes on Him.

Happy New Year, Joy…Your words and photos were like a beautiful Hallelujah chorus to what God has been saying to me about trusting Him…Thank you, my friend…Appreciate you 🙂 PS I finally have confirmation from God that my word for 2013 will be “Trust.”
Truly it must be like a Hallelujah chorus to God when we begin to fully trust Him in everything. Blessings to you, sweet Dolly and may this be a year filled with trusting in Him for both of us.

Jackie,
I failed to mention how sorry I am about the loss of your Goldens. When I lost Sunshine, who has always held a very special place in my heart, I thought my heart would break. It was a long time before I thought about wanting another Golden because I missed her so much. I still think about her often and how much I loved her. I now have two other Goldens which fill my life with fun and laughter. There is just something about a Golden which is so special.. It was so good hearing from you and thank you again for your comment.
Shout to The Lord is one of my favorite songs. I ALWAYS tear up at…mountains bow down and the seas will roar! It just touches me and reminds me of His greatness and majesty! Indeed…nothing compares!
