Christianity, Christmas, faith, glorious sunset, hope, joy, love, music, peace, spiritual wisdom
“I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you establish your faithfulness in heaven itself.” Psalm 89:2 “The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14
Have you ever walked outside in the evening and looked up to see the most glorious sunset imaginable and felt the absolute awesomeness of God? To think that this mighty God loved us so much that He came down to earth and gave His life for our sins so that we might know Him and have a relationship with Him overwhelms me with amazement. Oh how I love Him! This Holy God delights in us and wants to protect and guide us. His love and concern for my life fills me with joy and makes my heart sing!
Jesus is the greatest gift the world has ever received.
But what can I give Him?
I will give Him my heart filled with love.
I will give the gift of love this Christmas to my family, my children and spouse
and I will give the gift of love in His name to all I know and meet this year.
“I will sing of the LORD”S great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.” Psalm 89:1
When Love Was Born artist: Mark Schultz
Starlight shines, the night is still. Shepherds watching from a hill. I close my eyes to see the night when love was born.
A Perfect Child gently wails. A mother bends to kiss God’s face I close my eyes to see the night when love was born.
Angels fill the midnight sky and they sing Hallelujah, He is Christ, our King.
Emmanuel, Prince of Peace, Love came down to you and me. Heaven’s gift, the holy spark to light the way inside our hearts.
Bethlehem, through your small door came the hope we’ve waited for. The world was changed forevermore when love was born.
I close my eyes to see the night when love was born.
Love. That. Song. Thank you for sharing!
Yes…I don’t have to look far to know what I can give Him this year…I just have to look within. . .
thanks for making me think, friend. love and hugs to you!

Yes, a heart overflowing with love for Jesus and all mankind is certainly one of the best gifts we can give Him this year. Thank you for all the love you’ve shared with us this year and may you be blessed as you continue to follow His will and plan for your life in the years to come.
it always fills me with amazement that God gave me so much, and yet He still wants my love…and even that love is a result of Him first loving me…Thanks for sharing His love with me and others, Joy…appreciate you…hugs to you, my friend 🙂

When I think about how blessed I am to receive His love knowing that I have done nothing to deserve it, I too am filled with amazement. Thank you, my sweet friend for your comment. May you continue to bless the hearts of others with your words and God’s wisdom the way you do mine.
